The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance: -Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. -Public Works Agency approval (647-5039). -Proof of Worker's Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuance. The lateral design is not adequate, the back of the addition does not have any lateral resisting element, in addition, the addition is not configured to allow using cantilevered diaphragm. Detail 2 on three is referencing the wrong element, provide a section that shows the connection of the top of the post to the beams at the back of the patio. Label the grid on the plans in the same manner as the calcs or use the grid on the plans in your calcs. Beam FB3, provide calcs for the load combination where the load from the shear wall is in uplift, FB# does not have any dead load to resist uplift. Please clarify if the existing house is sprinklered. The original permit of the house show a fire sprinkler system.
