Call 647-5800 for information.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance: - Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Public Works Agency approval (647-5039) - Proof of Worker’s Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuancePlease provide a detail that shows how the ballast block will be inserted in the tray.( No tray is currently shown on plans).The block should be set in a way that it will not be able to slide out, in addition, it should be able to work in group to resist the uplift imposed at the mechanical anchor.Document on plans the weight of the panel with its support structure including the ballast system.In the structural calcs for the dead load analysis please make sure the ballast system is clearly identified in the total weight imposed.Clarify if there are any penetration of the exterior walls and interior walls. For exterior walls, show where and how close is the wall to the property line or an assumed property line. Please make sure if the wall being penetrated is rated, proper details are provided to address the penetration.If there are any penetration of interior walls, please identify if the wall is a fire wall or Occupancy separation wall ( fire barrier).
