If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 3corrected sets of plans.Meetings between the project applicant/designer and the plan reviewer shall be by appointment only. Separate plans, applications, fees, plan checks, and permits are required for plumbing, and electrical work. Call 647-5800 for information.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance: - Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Orange County Fire Authority approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100) - Public Works Agency approval (647-5039) - Proof of Worker’s Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuanceProvide the following: - Show all property lines of record on the site plan. Show compliance with CBC Section 705 and CBC Tables 601, 602, and 705.11.Label and note hourly fire rating of: - Exterior walls and the parapet extensions. North and South walls shall be 1-hour rated and west wall shall be a 2-hour rated wall per CBC Table 602. Reference each fire-resistive assembly to a CBC Chapter 7, Table and Item number: - Walls and the parapet extensions. Parapets shall have the same fire resistance rating as that required for supporting wall. Clearly show compliance for all 3 cases ( North, South and West side walls) parapet extensions on the plans,Provide construction details for proposed parapet extensions or equipment screens as shown on details 4 & 5 on sheet A-5.Roof plan on sheet A-4 calls for: +_ 2’-6” parapet for the North and South walls. Per Section 705.11.1 the minimum height of the parapet is 30”. Please update this sheet and resubmit.Provide construction details and structural calculation for light poles shown on the site plans. Or make a note that these light poles to be under a separate permit.Sidewalks accommodating the disabled must be at least forty-eight inches (48”) wide and at least sixty inches (60”) where door swings over walk.Provide cross sections at the sidewalk at the north side of the proposed work to show 48” walk and door landings of minimum of 60” will be maintain. Please consider the car overhang and 14” +- wide vine pockets & vertical trellis at this location. See other red marks on the following sheets of drawings: A-1, A-2, A-4, A-5, & D-3. Please resubmit the marked up set with revised and updated plans for recheck.
