The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance: -Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. Where the joist is perpendicular to the rail this is fine, but where blocking is used, please justify how a block can support a tension of 1400 lb. You might want to use more than one block strapped together.
