The applicant shall, prior to resubmitting, complete all construction documents to show compliance with the 2016 California Building Standards Code with local amendments.Clearly indicate the scope of work under this building permit application: - Revise project job description on the building permit application worksheet to reflect the work to be done under the subject building permit application. - Construction drawings must clearly show all work to be done under the subject building permit application. - Delete all notes and details from drawings that are not a part of the work to be done under the subject building permit application. This includes mechanical, plumbing and electrical work that is not specifically required by the Building Code.CBC Sections A106.1 and A106.3.4.1, All drawings and supporting documents shall be prepared, stamped and signed by a California licensed architect or registered civil engineer.All persons preparing plans, specifications, and instruments of service for others shall sign those plans, specifications and other instruments of service for others shall sign those plans, specifications and other instruments of service and all contracts therefore. A Cal/OSHA permit is required for: - Construction of trenches or excavations which are 5‘or deeper and into which a person is required to descend. - The construction or demolition of any building, structure, false-work, or scaffolding more than three stories high or the equivalent height.A separate Building Permit Application is required for: - Each building - Each structure - Each sign - Trash enclosure(s) - Fence(s) - Block wall(s) - Light standard(s) - Pedestrian protection - Demolition - Site improvements - Storage Racks - Screen Wall for Proposed EquipmentSheet 1Include all work-items per keynotes on sheet A-2. For example, new compressor and framing platform, new register counter…etcSheet A-2Provide the following information on accessible restroom:Toilet door in any position may encroach into the turning space by 12 inches maximum. Specify the maximum-encroachment dimension on toilet-room floor plan. §11B-603.2.3Door opening shall provide a clear width of 32 inches minimum. Clear opening of doorway with swinging door shall be measured between the face of the door and the stop, with the door open 90 degrees. Specify toilet-door width.§11B-404.2.3Toilet door within 10 inches of the finish floor measured vertically shall have a smooth surface on the push side extending the full width of the door. The space between the grab bar and projecting objects above shall be 12 inches minimum.§11B-609.3Provide note: “Grab bars and any wall or other surfaces adjacent to grab bars shall be free of sharp or abrasive elements and shall have rounded edges.”§11B-609.5Provide note: “Grab bars shall not rotate within their fittings.” §11B-609.6Provide note: “Allowable stresses shall not be exceeded for materials used when a vertical or horizontal force of 250 pounds is applied at any point on the grab bar, fastener, mounting device, or supporting structure.”§11B-609.8Grab bars shall be installed in any manner that provides a gripping surface at the specified locations and that does not obstruct the required clear floor space.§11B-609.7 TOILET PAPER DISPENSERS Toilet paper dispensers shall be 7 inches minimum and 9 inches maximum in front of the water closet measured to the centerline of the dispenser. §11B-604.7 The outlet of the dispenser shall be below the grab bar, 19 inches minimum above the finish floor and shall not be located behind the grab bars. §11B-604.7 Dispensers shall not be of a type that control delivery or that does not allow continuous paper flow. §11B-604.7Per keynote #2, specify maximum projection on the floor plan.
