All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.Meetings between the project applicant/designer and the plan reviewer shall be by appointment only. Please call (714) 647-5862 for an appointment.This review does not include electrical work. Separate plan, application, fee, plan check, and permit may be required for electrical work. Call 647-5800 for information.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Proof of Worker’s Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuanceShow compliance with following items on the plans:CBC Section 1009.5, Platform lifts. Standby power for the platform lift shall be provided in accordance with chapter 27.CBC Section 11B-403.5.1, Clear width. Provide the clear with in front of accessible stalls to the nearest wall or column as red marked on sheet A-1.2.CBC Section 11B-410, Platform lifts. Platform lifts shall be not be attendant-operated and shall provide unassisted entry and exit from the lift.Show compliance with Sections 11B-308, &11B-309 for controls of the proposed platform lift.Show compliance with Sections 11B-410.6 for the platform lift door to remain open for 20 seconds minimum.Show compliance with Sections 11B-410.8 for the platform lift restriction sign.Provide minimum width of the accessible route in front of the lift as marked on sheet A1.3.CBC Section 11B-502.4. Surface slopes of accessible parking spaces and access aisles serving them shall comply with Section 11B-302. Slopes not greater than 1:48 shall be permitted.Sheet A-1.2 shall be updated to show compliance.See other red marks on the plans. Please resubmit the marked up set with revised plan for recheck.
