The applicant shall, prior to resubmitting, complete all construction documents to show compliance with the 2016 California Building Standards Code with local amendments.Clearly indicate the scope of work under this building permit application: - Revise project job description on the building permit application worksheet to reflect the work to be done under the subject building permit application.The existing site plan shown on sheet A.10 is not up to date. - Delete all notes and details from drawings that are not a part of the work to be done under the subject building permit application. This includes mechanical, plumbing and electrical work that is not specifically required by the Building Code. Details # 1 & 2 on sheet A.10 is not part of this application for permit and shall be detailed.To control egress doors, code allows the following 3 different systems to be used:Delayed egress locking system under CBC Section: 1010.1.9.7Sensor release of electrically locked egress doors under CBC Section: 1010.1.9.8Electromagnetically locked egress doors under CBC Section: 1010.9.9Please clearly note on the plans which system is proposed for this building.Per City’s records the occupancy group for this building is: “B” & “S-1”. Two of these three systems are not allowed for “S-1” occupancy. See above code sections and show compliance.Due to nature of the building permit application, “ACCESS CONTROL READER”; all drawings and supporting documents shall be prepared, stamped and signed by a California licensed architect or registered civil engineer.All persons preparing plans, specifications, and instruments of service for others shall sign those plans, specifications and other instruments of service for others shall sign those plans, specifications and other instruments of service and all contracts therefore.
