The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance:
-Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously
approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process.

Provide a statement on the title sheet of the plans that this project shall comply with following codes:
- 2016 California Residential Code (CRC)
- 2016 California Building Code (CBC)
- 2016 California Electrical Code (CEC)
- 2016 California Mechanical Code (CMC)
- 2016 California Plumbing Code (CPC)
- 2016 California Green Building Standards Code (CGBS) or CALGreen
- 2016 California Energy Code (CEnC)
- City of Santa Ana Municipal Code Each sleeping room at basement shall have its emergency egress and rescue opening. Escape windows with a finished sill height below adjacent ground elevation shall have a window well and ladder per CRC R310.2. (CRC310.1) Provide notation or details to show compliance with the emergency escape from sleeping rooms Show window sill and opening size.Provide adequate light and ventilation for hedinning room. (Per exception 1 of section R303.1 of the CRC, the exemption to allow natural light is if a whole house mechanical ventilation system is provide. Please read and comply with the exception).There is no permit on file for a patio enclosure. The only permit we see on file is for an open patio.(The patio cover as shown does not appear to have a shear resisting element. Due to the addition of the sliding doors, the wind load on the patio is increased,) either comply with the CRC braced wall details or provide a 4 ft shear wall supported on footing at the corners of the proposed enclosure).Show the size of the beam above the kitchen and its supporting framing to justify removing the post.Call out all walls to be removed as non-bearing otherwise support for the framing should be taken care of.
