The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance: - Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Public Works Agency approval (647-5039). - Proof of Worker's Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuance. - School District Compliance Certificate; and a copy of the building permit application, signed by the plan check engineer, is required by the School District to verify the scope of the work. 8. Reference Sheet A-1; Indicate distance from exterior wall of new addition to existing pool and indicate depth of pool. Additional plan check comments may apply due location of exterior foundation of two story addition to existing pool wall for surcharge. Please advise engineer. 9. Reference Sheet A-1; “Project Data”, clarify the floor area of addition on each floor for school fee and building records. Please refer to red marks on the drawings. Reference Sheet CE-1; the designer and documentation author cannot be the same. Please refer to attached energy handout and revise drawings. Reference Sheet CE-1, new exterior walls are shown with R-15 insulation, however architectural drawings is shown with 2x6 exterior walls. Revise energy calculations for 2x6 studs with R-19 insulation. Provide continuous operating exhaust fan in the bathroom with required ventilation rate per Section 150-o, Table 4-7 of 2016 Residential Compliance Manual. Ventilation air must come directly from the outdoors and not from attic or crawl spaces. Please refer to attached CalGreen handouts and provide completed Forms on the drawings. 14.
