The recheck of your drawing was completed this morning, 11-08-2017; and the drawing is approved for building permit issuance subject to item #5 in the list below.
The approved plans are placed at the plan check counter for your convenience. All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.Meetings between the project applicant/designer and the plan reviewer shall be by appointment only. Please call (714) 647-5862 for an appointment.
The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance:
-Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously
approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Proof of Worker's Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuance.
Indicate detail and section references as to their appropriate location on plan views. Provide framing details for the arc section of the proposed replacement stairs at east & west sides.
Note the type of safety glazing complying with CBC sections2406.4.2,& 2406.4.7 for glazing panels adjacent to a door, where the nearest exposed edge of the glazing within 24-inch arc of either vertical edge of the door in closed position and where the bottom edge of the glazing is less than 60 inches above the walking surface. And glazing adjacent to the bottom of stairway landing where the glazing is less than 60” above the landing and within the 60” horizontal arc that is less than 180 degree. Seems like the following windows need to have tempered glazing: W6, W7, W9, W10, W11, W19, W20, W23, & W24.
Provide a complete full-height section and details of stairway showing:
- Maximum rise and minimum run (tread).
-Minimum width.
Any ventilation opening for the enclosed space under the proposed stairs?
