The recheck of your calculation (and drawing within the calculation package) were completed this morning, 11-27-2017; and the drawing is approved for building permit issuance subject to items # 5 and 6 from the list below.
Approved drawing is placed in the plan check folder. You could stop by to obtain Planning and police Department approvals before pulling the building permit.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.Meetings between the project applicant/designer and the plan reviewer shall be by appointment only. Please call (714) 647-5862 for an appointment.All drawings and supporting documents shall be prepared, stamped and signed by a California licensed architect or registered civil engineer.Include address and telephone number of the responsible designer, and date of signing of drawings.This review does not include mechanical and electrical work. Separate plans, applications, fees, plan checks, and permits are required for mechanical and electrical work. Call 647-5800 for information.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)
- Proof of Worker’s Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuanceProvide structural calculations and drawings, stamped and signed by a California licensed architect or registered civil engineer for:
- New mechanical equipment on roof (note on Roof Framing Plan weight of each existing and new piece of
equipment on the roof)
- New equipment screening on roof ( if this item is required by Planning Division)The structural engineer to provide lateral load analysis for these HVAC units and justify how these lateral loads will be transferred to existing roof diaphragm. (Provide connection details and a minimum number of connectors for each unit.)
