Exits shall be continuous from the point of entry into the exit to the exit discharge.CBC Sections 1002 and 1028.5., EXIT DISCHARGE. That portion of a means of egress system between the termination of an exit and a public way.CBC Sections 1024.6 and 1018.1. Exiting from any occupied point in a building or structure on the subject site must be continuous, unobstructed, and undiminished to a public way.
