All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 3corrected sets of plans.Please return marked up set of drawings with corrections.Meetings between the project applicant/designer and the plan reviewer shall be by appointment only. Please call (714) for an appointment, if needed.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Proof of Worker’s Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuanceRevise drawings and calculations including T-24 energy drawings to show compliance with followings:This review/revision does not include mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler system, or electrical work. Separate plans, applications, fees, plan checks, and permits may be required for mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler systems, and electrical work. Call 647-5800 for information.Please remove MEP sheets.All drawings and supporting documents shall be prepared, stamped and signed by a California licensed architect or registered civil engineer.Structural drawings to be signed and stamped by engineer who has signed and stamped calculations. Remove Sheets that are not part of this revision and or are not changed due to this revision.Show Delta and number including revision date for revised items on each revised Sheet.Please cloud the drawing or details includingDelta and number to clarify revision items under this permit.Revise T-24 calculations and drawings to show City of Santa Ana (not Tustin).Indicate ICC approval for proposed skylights and provide curb detail on the drawings. Clarify if skylight is CC1 or CC2 material in compliance with Section 2610.5 of 2016 CBC.Provide 4”-0” separation between skylights in compliance with Section 2610.6 of 2016 CBC. Provide as built drawings for existing roof and provide roof rater size spacing and span on the drawings. Actual and accurate dimensioned roof framing plan must be provided. Roof framing plan on the drawings shows that 2 roof rafters to be cut and skylight detail isshowing 1 roof rafter to be cut. Clarify the discrepancy. Revise calculations based on actual roof framing plan and show accurate framing around skylights, doubling up the roof rafters and 4x HDR in the perpendicular direction is a minimum requirement. Submit calculations for new openings in roof diaphragm based on accurate existing roof framing plan and justify roof diaphragm opening due to new skylights including nailing around new openings.Label non-bearing walls to be removed on the drawings. Show accessibility compliance for enclosed areas and label Use of each room/area on the drawings. Revise details and drawings for clarification by providing existing and new floor plan and details.
