If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2 corrected sets of plans.Meetings between the project applicant/designer and the plan reviewer shall be by appointment only. The design engineer need to review and approve the Geopier plans.Since there is no positive connection between the piers and the footing, please clarify how the lateral is being resisted at the foundation level. Please clarify if friction alone is going to be adequate to support all the lateral load.Provide copies of the design of the concrete spread footing that is supported by the point load of the pier. The conversional method of assuming the soil as an elastic foundation does not seem appropriate,Provide evidence for compliance with the ICC report item 5.2 regarding the qualification of the geopier installer.Specify the ICC report on the plans.Add a statement to indicate that special inspection is required and the qualification of the special inspector.
