The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance:
-Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously
approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process.
The Approval report for “ GripTite” is expired and is based on the 1999 BOCA. Please use a product that has the product that has an ICC approval..The structural calcs and plans must be signed and stamped by the design engineer.. According to the structural package, Kenneth Breyer is the structural designer.Specify on the plans that special inspection is required for this project.
Since the piles are being driven into the ground by pushing against the house, there is no factor of safety provided. In order to provide a factor of safety another pile should be driven at the same location.
