Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Public Works Agency approval (647-5039) - County of Orange Health Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings ((714)433-6000) - Proof of Worker’s Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuanceCity records note the type of building construction as: IIIB under a previous/ code edition. Please note type of construction on drawing based on the 2016 California Building Code.CBC Section 1603.1.5, Earthquake design data. The following information related to seismic loads shall be shown, regardless of whether seismic loads govern the design of the lateral-force-resisting system of the building: - Seismic importance factor, I, and occupancy category. - Mapped spectral response accelerations, SS and S1. - Site class. - Spectral response coefficients, SDS and SD1. - Seismic design category. - Basic seismic-force-resisting system(s). - Design base shear. - Seismic response coefficient(s), CS. - Response modification factor(s), R. - Analysis procedure used.The seismic factors in the calculations and on the drawings shall be updated for the values shown in Table 1604.5 of CBC. The Risk Category shall be ”III”, and the Importance factor, “Ie=1.25” per Table 1.5-2 of ASCE 7-10Please resubmit the revised calculations along with the updated drawings for recheck.
