CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDMENTSMeetings between the project applicant/designer and the plan reviewer shall be by appointment only, if needed. This permit (10197172 is a Building permit to review architectural and structural drawings and structural calculations only. This permit is not an electrical permit and electrical drawings are not part of this permit nor approved by Building department This review does not include mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler system, or electrical work. Separate plans, applications, fees, plan checks, and permits are required for mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler systems, and electrical work. Call 714-647-5800 for information and submittal.Resubmit 3corrected sets of plans. The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit
issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (714- 647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings (714-573-6126)
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (714-647-5840)
- Public Works Agency approval (714-647-5039)
- Proof of Worker’s Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuanceProvide scope of work on the cover Sheet and Indicate total number of panels to be installed including weight of each and total load. Indicate Occupancy and Type of construction for exiting structure on the drawings. Structural drawings (all Sheets) and structural calculations to be signed and stamped by California licensed engineer prior to resubmittal. Reference Sheets S1.0 and S1.1, provide the following information and to be verified by City inspector: a. Provide complete dimensioned roof framing plan to show size and framing of all roof member including lateral resisting elements. b. Show location of attachment of solar panels in both directions for existing roof faming. Indicate spacing, size of each attachment and provide reference to detail Sheet S1.2.b. Provide dimensioned /foot print of existing building and show required set back including OCFA set back requirement from building roof to solar panels edge. Indicate ICC approval for weather sealant when existing roof is penetrated for solar panel attachment. Incorporated results of structural calculations into drawings including slope of installed panels.
