Second Review Comments
Plumbing fixture calculations are shown on sheet A-1. The occupant load factor for the purpose of calculating plumbing fixtures is based on California Plumbing Code Table A, not exiting requirement as stated. Revise occupant load calculations.
One urinal is required in men’s restroom. however, a urinal is missing in the restroom. Per Table 422.1 Footnote 3, the total number of required water closets for females shall be not less than the total number of required water closets and urinals for males. In other words, if one urinal and one water closet are required for male, two water closets are required for female. Only one water closet is shown in women’s restroom. Based on the required plumbing fixture calculations, additional urinal is required in men’s restroom and additional water closet isrequiredin women’s restroom.
