All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Meetings between the project applicant/designer and the plan reviewer shall be by appointment only. Please call (714) 647-5831for an appointment, if needed.This review does not include mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler system, or electrical work. Separate plans, applications, fees, plan checks, and permits are required for mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler systems, and electrical work. Call 647-5800 for information and submittal requirements. The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (714-647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (714-647-5840) Proof of Worker’s Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuanceSubmit structural calculations by California licensed architect or registered civil engineer for new roof screening and show location on the roof plan. Indicate the weight of each equipment on Sheet SD4.3. Show missing weight of RTU of 250LB.Reference Sheet 5 of structural calculations and Sheet SD4.3, Please clarify discrepancy for calling 5-1/8x18 beams as new or existing and submit structural for design and justification for existing or new beam due to additional equipment load.Reference detail 6, Sheet S1, please refer to structural drawings to show correct landing for new ramp at door landing. The floor or landing shall be not more than ½” lower than the threshold of the doorway. Reference detail 1, Sheet S1, indicate weight of each new equipment per structural calculations. Subject to inspection by City inspector.
