The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance: -Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. -Public Works Agency approval (647-5039). -Proof of Worker's Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuance. Identify on the plans the windows that should comply with the emergeny escape criteria. Garage slab is usually sloped, clarify how it will be made level. The shear wall schedule provide is for anchor bolts in concrete, since this is an existing slab, the use of special anchors will be required. Specify what anchors are being used to connect the sill plate to the footing. Justification of the mechanical anchors require a licensed engineer or architect. Provide design calcs and stamp on plans. Energy forms on the plans should be signed.by energy designer.
