The approved plans are placed at the plan check counter for your convenience. CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDMENTS All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.Meetings between the project applicant/designer and the plan reviewer shall be by appointment only. Drawing on sheet 2 call 8’ fence to be placed on top of proposed retaining wall. First, please obtain Planning approval for this 8’ fence. Second, provide construction details for attaching this fence to the proposed block retaining wall.The calculation for proposed retaining walls calls for rebars to be placed at the edge. Provide enlarge construction detail to show this condition. Also, provide construction details to show how the grade beam will be connected to pier footings at 12’ OC.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance: - Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Orange county Fire Authority approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100) - Public Works Agency approval (647-5039) - Proof of Worker’s Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuanceProvide the following: - Provide a fully dimensioned site plan on each set of plans. Clearly show that the existing from the existing buildings on the site can reached the Public Way without being blocked by proposed retaining walls. Also, clearly show the property lines on the site plans and provide distance from the property lines to proposed retaining walls to ensure that these retaining walls are not in the Right-A-Way area. - Disabled access compliance must be shown on the site plan.Exiting from any occupied point in a building or structure on the subject site must be continuous, unobstructed, and undiminished to a public way. This includes proposed retaining wall with 8’ fence. Show compliance with CDB chapter 10. Revise drawings to show compliance.
