All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.This review does not include mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler system, or electrical work. Separate plans, applications, fees, plan checks, and permits are required for mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler systems, and electrical work. Call 647-5800 for information.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)
- County of Orange Health Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings ((714)433-6000)The opening between the sales area and the kitchen must be a minimum of 32”.The path of travel to the rea of remodel and the bathrooms serving the area of remodel need to comply with the accessibility requirements. However, you are not required to spend more than 20% of the current construction value to make these features accessible. A Hardship exemption form must be completed if a hardship exemption is being requested. All non compliance features need to be identified.Please show using notes and dimension that the above is complied with. Please note that the accessibility requirements are in chapter 11B of the California building Code.The work area in the kitchen/food prep need to have a minimum of 40” pass through dimension.( dimension the distance between the ice bin and the counter as 40”)There need to be an 18” strike edge clearance on all doors and specifically the one in the kitchen. You need to spend 20% of the construction cost on making things accessible. The hardship request submitted does not show any expenditure on accessibility.Please note plans will be left at the counter for pick-up.
