Separate plans, applications, fees, plan checks, and permits are required for mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work. Call 647-5800 for information. The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance: -Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. -Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840). -Public Works Agency approval (647-5039). -Proof of Worker's Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuance. - School District Compliance Certificate; and a copy of the building permit application, signed by the plan check engineer, shall be required by the School District to verify the scope of the work. Provide title 24 calcs. This project needs to comply with the California Green Building Code; provide notes and details to show compliance. Show area of master bedroom where new work is being proposed by showing walls to be remove. Call out clearly the patio that will be demolished. These plans are missing the structural package. Provide structural plans and details including framing plans and shear wall, provide lateral load analysis. This plan check is not complete, a complete plan check will be completed once a complete plan is submitted. Show all information requested by the planning department on plans. Show location of heater within the unit, and show location of attic access.(Space heater or forced air unit is required). Show all work that is a part of this permit as per the planning department notes including fence, sliding door in garage etc.
