Owner’s representative must present owner’s approval with a copy of driver license or other forms of valid ID from the owner. ☒ For contractor building permits: Prior to the issuance of a building permit, the contractor shall have the following: Letter of authorization for agents. Certificate of workers Compensation Insurance made out to the Contractors State License Board. Copy of Contractor’s State License or pocket ID. Copy of City of Santa Ana business tax registration certificate or a newly paid receipt. ☒ Two sets of plans will be required during building permit issuance.
