Submit the original checked set of plans and calculations, three corrected set of plans, two corrected set of structural calculations, and this plan-check correction sheets to the Building Department. Unprepared responses with incomplete plans or calculations will delay plan check process. Once all the items have been corrected to comply with the code requirements and clearances are obtained, the building permit will be ready to be issue.IMPORTANT ITEMS TO READ: Your early attention is suggested to the approval process from other Departments as listed in the Plan Check Checklist due to possible delays resulting from a public hearing or other processes required by other Departments. The Planning Department, Public Works Agency, Police Department, Orange County Fire Agency, and others may have requirements that could significantly affect the final design of the project. The permit application will expire 12 months from the plans submittal date. This review does not include mechanical, electrical, plumbing work (MEP). Separate applications, fees, and permits are required for MEP work. Please be advised that the permit will be issued upon verification of compliance with the corrections included herein. The approval of plans does not permit the violation of any section of the Building Code, or other ordinance or state law. Numbers in parenthesis refer to particular code sections of the 2016 edition of the California Building Code (CBC). ADMINISTRATION: Obtain all clearancesfromthe following departments listed below. It is necessary to apply immediately for the signoff as it can take months for some departments to review the project. Plans must be: Quality blue or black line drawings with uniform and light background color. Maximum 36” x 48” size with minimum 1/8” lettering size. Minimum 18” x 24” size with minimum 1/8” lettering size. Sticky back details must produce prints without contrasting shades of background color. For new buildings and additions, one additional copy of only architectural set is required for the County Tax Assessor. (California Revenue and Taxation Section 72). Shannon St.” under Project Data. Project Scope indicates existing wall to be removed per plan. Provide wall legend or keynote on sheet A101 and clearly identify which existing walls to be removed. Project Scope indicates addition of door per plan. Identify all new doors and existing doors on sheet A102. Project Scope indicates new non-bearing wall per plan. Identify new wall location and provide detailed construction of such wall. Structural sheet shows wall legend with 4-inches wood stud at maximum height of 13 feet. However, there is no sidewalk on existing condition and the path is through a vehicular way. Provide a code compliant Path of Travel design. Show all property lines on site plan. It appears the building is located on a zero lot-line. The propose design directs one exit to adjacent property which is not permitted by building code. Sheet A101 Provide keynotes for elements to be demolished. Sheet A102 Provide wall legend and details for wall along grid line 2. What is the fire-resistive rating for wall along grid line 2 if any? Demolition floor plan shows a door is being removed along grid line 2 near grid line G. Provide a wall in-fill detail. Show Path of Travel from the Entrance to area of tenant improvement. Show travel distance to the exit door. Will there be cannabis manufacturing, retail, or extracting use at the remaining portion of the building?
