And one of the 2 required exits out of this space is going through the elevator lobby, but the door from elevator lobby to the corridor is swinging in the wrong direction. Please show compliance with CBC Section 1010.1.2.1 for this door.This review does not include mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler system, or electrical work. Separate plans, applications, fees, plan checks, and permits are required for mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler systems, and electrical work. Make a note on the drawings.Tactile exit signs shall be required at the following locations: - Each grade-level exterior exit door shall be identified by a tactile exit with the word “EXIT.” - Each exit door that leads directly to a grade-level exterior exit by means of a stairway or ramp shall be identified by a tactile exit sign with the following words as appropriate:“EXIT STAIR DOWN”“EXIT RAMP DOWN”“EXIT STAIR UP”“EXIT RAMP UP” - Each exit door that leads directly to a grade-level exterior exit by means of an exit enclosure, or an exit passageway, shall be identified by a tactile exit sign with the words “EXIT ROUTE.” - Each exit access door from an interior room or area to a corridor or hallway, which is required to have a visual exit sign, shall be identified by a tactile exit sign with the words “EXIT ROUTE.” - Each exit door through a horizontal exit shall be identified by a sign with the words “TO EXIT.”It is the project designer’s/property owner’s responsibility to show compliance on the drawings with all applicable Federal and State Accessibility Standards.Two existing doors at each end of the rated corridor are in conflict with the stair doors. Show compliance with CBC Section 11B-404.2.6 for these two doors in the series. Drawings submitted to the Building Division for review shall provide the following information to insure compliance with CBC Chapter 11B, Section 11B-204: - Primary entrance to the building, - Toilet facilities serving the altered area, - Drinking fountains serving the area, - Public phone serving the area, and - Signs.Entrance(s) to the building or facility and primary path of travel to the specific area of new work, alteration, structural repair or addition shall be accessible. Path of travel incorporated all elements from the exterior arrival site to remodeled area.Parking data on the site plan showingthe number of parking spaces provided as 200, with only 5 accessible spaces.Please show compliance with CBC Table 11B-208.2 for number of accessible spaces.Sanitary facilities serving the area of new work shall be disabled accessible. Revise the drawings to show compliance with CBC Section11B-604.Provide completely dimensioned floor plans, elevations and sections of sanitary facility insuring wheelchair clearances complying with CBC Section 11B-604 and the California Plumbing Code.The reception counter in reception area # 500 shall a section of counter that is at least 36” long and no more than 28 to 34” high.Provide structural calculations and drawings, stamped and signed by a California licensed architect or registered civil engineer for: - New mechanical equipment on roof ( the structural calculation shall cover the sliding effect of the lateral loads for these 12’ diameter satellite dishes and a way to secure these 30 blocks at each side of eachsatellite dish ) - New equipment screening on roof if it is required per Planning Department.
