If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. Please call (714) 647-5830 for an appointment.Please return marked up set of drawings with corrections.Sheet A1.3Egress plan on sheet A1.2 shows the required exit-path travels through the patio area then to the alley. Google map shows this area is use for large trash-collection for multiple tenants(See pictures below). Means of egress shall be free of obstructions until occupants reach to the point of public right-of-way from the building. Provide a dedicated egress path at the patio area that is free of obstruction. Verify with Public Works Agency and Waste Management company that the reduced space design is adequate for trash pick-up.Two exits are required at the “bar” room. The doorway between the bar room and the retail space is not a qualified exit doorway since the tenant in the retail space have the ability to lock the door. A floor plan redesign for second exit is required. See pictures below.
