The applicant shall, prior to resubmitting, complete all construction documents to show compliance with the 2019 California Building Standards Code with local amendments and to clearly indicate the scope of work under this building permit application. There may be additional requirements when complete construction drawings and supporting data is submitted for Building Safety Division review. The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance: -Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. -Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840). - Proof of Worker's Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuance. Sheet A1.0: Applied Codes: Please revise code edition to the 2019 code edition. Sheet A2.0: Note #1m, and California Green Code note #1.a: Please revise notes to limit lavatory faucets flow rate to 1.2 gallon per minute. Main Residence: Please provide/show smoke and carbon monoxide alarm outside of each sleeping room. Please show infill wall at existing door between (E) garage and residence. Please specify window size and openable portion for the bedroom #1 bedroom’s window. Building Section A-A did not reflect with the floor plan. Coordinate and revise plan accordingly. Existing access door to the new ADU: On the plan, please specify door size. Door shall be provided with a minimum 32” clear with when it’s in a 90 degree opening position (typically 36” door would provide 32” clear). Note plan: All branch circuits supplying receptacles in residence, except bathroom and garage, shall be protected by a listed arc-fault circuit interrupter (AFCI). Provide one wall switch-controlled lighting fixture at the exterior side of outdoor entrance or exit. Framing Plan Provide/show ceiling joists to support new ceiling drywall. Show ceiling joist size, spacing, and spanning direction. Provide wall details to show new infilled wall connection at top and bottom. A concrete curb is required at the bottom to align with the existing wall sill plate. Title 24 Energy Forms Please use the updated Title 24 forms and calculation for the 2019 California Energy Code. Sheet A2.0: On the plan, please show heating source for the new ADU.
