Indicate (1) Type of Construction, (2) Occupancy Group and (3) whether building is equipped with fire-sprinker on the first sheet. Sheet T0.1. This project is received on January 31, 2020. Revise applicable Codes to 2019 version under the (1) applicable codes notes and (2) scope of work notes. Sheet A3.11. Under color and material finish schedule for new roof covering, specify ICC approval number and weight per square foot for tile and special roof coverings. (CRC R905.3.4 and R905.3.5). Sheet A3.11. Projections of dwelling units and accessory buildings without an automatic residential fire sprinkler protection are not permitted less than 2 feet to the property line and are required to be 1 hour fire rated on the underside with a fire separation distance between 2 feet and 5 feet. (CRC Table R302.1 (1)). Please (1) Provide fire protection detail on plan. (2) Show distances, measured from nearest lot line to the edge of the roof and the building exterior wall on the site plan. Sheet A2.12. Provide cross ventilation for attic and each enclosed rafter space as specified in CRC Section R806. Sheet A2.12. Provide carbon monoxide alarm outside of each separate dwelling unit sleeping area in the immediate vicinity of the bedroom(s). Sheet A2.12. Provide dimensions on the new 275 sf. patio cover and new 30 sf. front porch on the floor plan. Show overall dimensions of the building and the dimensions between each post. GREEN This project is submitted after January 1, 2020. The proposed scope of work shall comply with the 2019 version of the CALGreen Code. Please show compliance on plan. ENERGY The proposed building shall comply with 2019 California Energy Code. Revise and update the energy performance design, see Residential T24 sheets, by using approved software (e.g. EnergyPro version 8.0 or 8.1) to run the analysis. Incorporate update CF1R forms to plan. Residential T24 sheet 2-The architect or building designer must complete and sign the CF-1R form under responsible person’s declaration statement. STRUCTURAL Provide a legible stamp, signature and date when it is signed on the structural calculation cover page. Please update the applicable code to 2019 California Building Code in the structural notes on sheet S1.0 and page 2 of the structural calculation. For garage conversion to a habitable space, please show method of sealing the existing slab. A moisture barrier is required in the footing of the addition area. If it is applied to the top of the existing concrete slab, Provide approved ICC number of the sealing material.
