Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Fire Department (OCFA) approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings - Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (714-647-5840) - Proof of Worker’s Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuanceOrange County Fire Authority approval is required for final permit issuance. Provide the following: Submit a completed OCFA clearance form. Clearance forms are available at the Building Department permit counter and may be required to be reviewed along with plans by OCFA staff. Plan review by the OCFA is required for this use or occupancy. The OCFA plan check package shall be submitted at the Building Department permit counter. Please consult with staff for specific application, fees and submittal requirements.Sheet R-1:Scope of work: Please clarify whether the storage racks are part of this permit application or storage racks are existing? Are stairways access part of the proposed work? Project Comply Code: Please revise note to specify City of Santa Ana Amendment. Please include the 2019 CMC, CEC and CPC. For clarity, please show limit of the proposed catwalk platform. Sheet R-2: Please note “FOR REFERENCE ONLY”Sheet R-3:For clarity, please clearly identify storage rack vs. catwalk/platform. On the plan, please provide/show stairway information. Stairway shall comply with Section 1011, CBC. Provide/show guards where required by Section 1015.2. Egress Plan: Please provide an egress plan for the existing building. Please show all exit access and exits. The required exit doors appeared locating not far apart as required under Section 1007. Please coordinate and revise plan accordingly. On the plan, please show maximum common bath of travel distance, measured from the most remoted area to the bottom landing of the stairway. On the plan, please show maximum access travel distance from the most remoted area of the platform to the exit door (exit discharge).
