Exterior wall (East wall): Wall located less than 5-ft from the property line shall be protected with one-hour fire-rated wall construction. On the plan, please indicate one-hour fire-rated wall and provide wall assembly detail(s). Bedroom 1 window: Please specify window size and openable portion. Window shall meet light and ventilation, and emergency escape requirement. Shower compartment shall be minimum of 1024 square inches – please verify dimensions. Water closet (toilet): Please show minimum 15” clear on both side of the water closet, measured from the centerline of the fixture. Specify window size and openable portion at the laundry area. Electrical Plan: Please provide an electrical outlet (GFCI/WP) within 3-ft of the water heater. Electrical plan: Provide an electrical outlet at the kitchen peninsular counter area. Lighting Plan: Please relocate the smoke and carbon monoxide alarm from the living room to the area giving access to the sleeping room. Lighting Plan: Please show/provide exhaust hood at the kitchen area. Please provide whole house ventilation. Please show on the plan. Detail 2/SD appeared inaccurate. Please revise detail to show concrete curb. Detail 12/SD at the existing exterior garage wall: Typically there is a concrete curb along the exterior walls of the garage – please revise details to show concrete curb. Please provide detail for the new footing. Existing concrete slab (garage conversion): On the plan, please provide moisture barrier at the existing concrete slab. Surface applied product shall be listed; provide manufacturer’s name, testing and listing report number on the plan. (End of Comment)
