All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.Meetings between the project applicant/designer and the plan reviewer shall be by appointment only. Please call (714) 647-5812 for an appointment.Please return marked up set of drawings with corrections.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Proof of Worker’s Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuanceProvide floor plan and show exiting plan.Show all the exit doors on the site plan There are 2 different detail 3/ SW-1 provided, with different size of footing and wall height , please clarify which one is being used.2/7/20EXIT ACCESS. That portion of a means of egress system that leads from any occupied portion of a building or structure to an exit. CBC Sections 1016.Provide number of exits required by CBC Sections 1006..( Please see comment # 18)CBC Section 1027 Exterior exit doors shall lead directly to the exit discharge or the public way.Provide dimension for the racks.Show type and weight of material being stored on the shelves.Provide structural calculations and drawings, stamped and signed by a California licensed architect or registered civil engineer for:
- Storage racks Provide a Gate and exit door at the blockwall for exit from back of the building.2/7/2020Provide engineering calculation and construction detail to show how new roll up doors will be supported by the block wall.Code in effect is IBC 2015 and CBC2016, please revise calculations to reflect that.On sheet SN-1 what is the use of these details and where do they belong to.Provide engineering calculation for sheet SN-1.Please show exit plan and number of exits complies with CBC 1006.3.2(2).Roll up door cannot be used as exit door.Please see planning department for removing parking stalls in the back.On the 2nd submittal, drawings show 2 new storage buildings, please see planning departmentbefore structural and architectural review.Please note plan review for new buildings are not completed , since planning approval shall be obtained before review.Show new buildings are in compliance with CBC 705, exterior wall requirements.On detail 3/SW1 any rebar at the top of footing?Please see Public works for the site drainage.
