Provide a fully dimensioned Site Plan on the drawings and on a separate 8-1/2" x 11" sheet of paper.The plot plan must be drawn to scale, showing north arrow, landscape, driveway, property lines, location of any existing structures, enclosed patio setbacks to finish of exterior walls to all property lines and the proposed patio enclosure with dimensions. Please keep in mind that patio must not within 5 feet of any property lines.
Provide floor plan showing proposed patio enclosure plan with dimensions, partial existing building floor plan and the size and location of the existing window that adjoins the proposed patio enclosure. Note that patio shall be unenclosed where such openings serve as emergency egress or rescue openings from sleeping rooms (bedrooms).
Add note to the floor plan that
This enclosure to be used only for recreational, outdoor living purposes, not a habitable room, carport, garage of storage.
Smoke detectors required in the existing dwelling if permit valuation exceeds $1,000.
All electrical work shall comply with the current California Electrical Code. If an existing exterior WP/GFI receptacle is present on the exterior building wall now within the enclosure, another WP/GFI receptacle shall be installed on the exterior wall of the enclosure.
All electrical fixtures shall be weatherproof and receptacles to be GFCI protected.
