If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit three corrected sets of plans.
The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance:
-Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously
approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039).
Sheet A4:
Roof Plan: please specify roof pitch for the proposed patio.
Sheet A5:
On the plan, please specify roof slope.
On the plan, please specify roofing material and listing number.
Tempered windows at patio: For clarity, please show exact location and size of the proposed windows as specified on the elevation.
Sheet T1:
Please update Title 24 Energy Compliance forms to the 2019 California Energy forms.
Sheet S3:
For clarity, please provide construction detail reference for new footing.
New footing: On the plan, please specify/provide footing reinforcement.
Sheet S4:
Provide detail to show transfer of lateral loads from roof diaphragm to lateral resisting system blow. Details shall be clearly cross-reference onto the plan.
Provide detail for new California Framing over the existing roof.
New 4x12 beam over the existing wall. Please provide detail to show new beam in relative to existing wall frames.
Sheet S5 & S6:
Please show/provide steel reinforcement for new footing.
Footing dowels: Please specify dowel size and epoxy’s name and ICC report number.
Structural Design
Structural calculations were not provided. Please provide structural calculation for the proposed patio. Provide vertical and lateral analysis.
Plan review will continue at time of resubmittal.
