General and Instruction Comments:
All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.

The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)Plan check fees: Plan check and inspections fees are underestimated. Fees have been adjusted and additional fees are required. Plan was incomplete. Plan review will continue at time of resubmittal and additional comment may be required. Plans shall be signed and dated by the designer, who is responsible for the project. Sheet A1: Plan labeled as Site Plan: Please provide complete site plan showing property lines, street(s), all structures located on the same lot. Plan must be legible and drawn to scale. On the plan, please provide contact information for the project designer (full name, address, phone number, email address, etc.). Scope of work: Please specify the improvement is at the first level. Please provide the following Project data and Code analysis on the cover sheet (first page) of the plan. Applicable Codes: 2019 California Building Code, California Mechanical Code, California Electrical Code, California Plumbing Code, California Green Building and California Energy Code. Building area summary for each floor Number of storyArea of alteration/improvement (in square feet)Area of the suite (101), in square feet. Occupancy groupsType of ConstructionFloor plan: Please provide a complete floor plan with dimensions. Provide wall legends for existing wall, wall to be demolished and new wall so that it can be easily differentiate existing vs. new construction. Specify the use of space for each area/room. Plan shall be legible and drawn to scale.Please provide egress plan with occupant load calculation and means of egress. Sheet S2:Plan and details must be legible. Metal stud and anchor – On the plan, please provide/specify the ICC report number of the metal studs and anchor. Sheet G4:Information provided on plan shall comply with the current code edition. Detail 1 C: Toilet paper dispenser shall be located at a distance of 7”-9”, measured from the front of the water closet to the centerline of the dispenser. Sheet G5:Restrooms serving the area shall be accessible to the persons with disabilities. The area of alteration/improvement is locate on the first floor; therefore, the provided restrooms located on the first floors shall be upgraded to comply with the accessibility requirement in Chapter 11B, Division 6. Please provide first floor restroom plans and complete dimensions with accessible features. Sheet G6:On the plan, please show an accessible route from the public sidewalk to the building entrance. On the plan, please identify the location of the accessible van parking stall. Van parking stall shall be 18-ft long minimum, 12-ft wide with 5-ft wide access aisle located on the passenger side. (11B-502)On the plan, please show/provide detectable warning (truncated dome) between the pedestrian area and vehicular area (parking). Truncated dome shall comply with Section 11B-705.1. Accessible path of travel (route): Please specify accessible route shall have 5% maximum slope, measured in the direction of travel and 2% maximum cross-slope.
