All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.Please return marked up set of drawings with corrections, if it was picked up. This review does not include mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler system, or electrical work. Separate plans, applications, fees, plan checks, and permits are required for mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler systems, and electrical work. Call 647-5800 for information.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100)
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)County of Orange Health Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (667-3600)Sheet T.1: OCFA notes: Please increase font size so that it can be legible. Kitchen with type I hood: Please describe the function of the kitchen. Are foods will be prepared and served on site? Occupancy separation complying with Table 508.4 may be required. Sheet SP.1:For clarity, please show an accessible path of travel from the public sidewalk and from the accessible parking spaces to the building entrance. Show curb and curb ramp with detectable warning where required/occurred – provide details and cross-reference detail onto the plan. Note on plan: Accessible route shall be 5% maximum sloped, measured in the direction of travel, and 2% maximum cross-sloped. Sheet AS.2 & AS3:Details shall be clearly cross-referenced onto the plan. Delete/omit detail that does not apply to the project. Sheet A.100Full kitchen is proposed: Please clarify whether foods will be prepared and served on site. Restrooms: Restrooms shall be accessible to persons with disabilities. Please provide restroom plans with all required dimensions and details to show compliance with Chapter 11B, Division 6. Please show/provide clear access in kitchen area. Please show accessible counter at kitchen service counter. Kitchen counter working surface shall comply with Section 11B-902. Please provide counter height maximum 34” from finish surface. Please coordinate and revise plans accordingly. Kitchen Hood:Please provide detail for one-hour shaft for the hood duct. Provide structural framing and details for the roof mounted exhaust fan. Provide structural details for the hood support and attachment.
