If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 3corrected sets of plans.Please return marked up set of drawings with corrections.This review does not include mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler system, or electrical work. Separate plans, applications, fees, plan checks, and permits are required for mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler systems, and electrical work. Call 647-5800 for information.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance: - Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100) - Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840) - Public Works Agency approval (647-5039) - School District Compliance Certificate; a copy of the building permit application, signed by the plan check engineer, shall be required by the School District to verify the scope of work. Refer to the attached handout.Sheet C-1:Submit a letter addressed to the Building Safety Division describing in detail the manufacturing process from material delivery, storage, handling, packaging, and shipping of finish product. Include an equipment list describing use in the process.Applicable Code listed below the Sheet Index – Please update the Model Code edition or omit it. Applicable Codes provided on the Title Block – Please update code to the current code edition or remove it. Apply to all plan sheets. Site plan: Please provide complete site plan showing property lines, distance setback between building and property line, all buildings located on the same lot, etc. Scope of Work: Please provide a complete scope of work that to be done under the subject building permit application. Accessible route: On the plan, please specify/indicate accessible route shall be 5% maximum slope, measured in the direction of travel, and 2% cross-slope with 48” wide minimum.Please show an accessible route from the public sidewalk to the building accessible entrance. Accessible entrance door shall be identified by the International Symbol of Accessibility complying with 11B-704. Directional sign complying with Section 703.5 that indicate the location of the nearest entrance complying with Section 11B-404 shall be provided at entrances that do not comply with 11B-404. Accessible route: Please show/provide detectable (truncated dome) between the pedestrian walk and vehicular (parking) area.Accessible parking: Please show/provide wheel-stop where concrete curb is not provided. Please provide/show required dimensions for parking stalls and access aisle, marking, signage, etc. Details shall be clearly cross-referenced onto the plan. Please note on plan: All commercial cannabis facilities shall be equipped with mechanical ventilation in accordance with the City’s Mechanical Handout. Floor area of the existing building: Please verify the existing building floor area. Permit record only showed 24’ x 40’ addition to the existing building. There is no permit record for the outdoor covered work area. It will be new addition to the existing building. Revise building floor area summary separately list existing and new addition, and new overall square footage. Also, revise permit application accordingly. Sheet ADA-1 & AD-2:Details shall be clearly cross-referenced onto the plan. Delete/omit detail that does not apply to the project. Accessible parking stalls Detail shall be reflect with site specific layout. Sheet A-1.1: Permit record showed the work area #3 is 24’ x 40’ – Please verify wall dimension and revise plan accordingly. There was not permit record for the outdoor cover work area – For clarity, please specify all patio covered will be removed. Sheet A-1.2: Provide wall legends to show new construction vs. existing construction. Provide wall construction details and clearly cross-reference onto the plan. Please provide equipment keynotes information as shown on the floor plan. Please clarify whether all the equipment will be under this permit application or will be submitted under a separate permit. Fire-rated construction may be required for the Oven room, extraction rooms, and corridor due to the hazardous materials. On the plan, please clearly show landing and maneuver space on both side of doors – show dimensions on plan. Egress PlanPlease provide exiting (egress) plan showing means of egress, include exit doorways, travel distance, exit signs, tactile signage, etc. Provide occupant load calculation for each room/area. All required exits shall be continuous to a public way in accordance with Section 1009.2.Accessible Restrooms:Please provide plumbing fixture calculation in compliance with plumbing code showing the required fixtures. Please referenced to sheet A-2.1 for accessible restroom information. Water closet location: Please revise restroom plans to show water closet located at a distance of 17”-18”, measured from the center of water closet to the adjacent wall. Single accommodated restroom shall be provided with the following door symbol: Shower shall be accessible to persons with disabilities. Please provide complete information for the accessible shower compartment, including operable parts, seating bench, etc. Energy Conservation:Conditioned space: Please show building envelope and insulations required by the California Energy Code. Conditioned space: Please provide Title 24 Compliance forms. Structural:Please provide structural calculation and details for the new opening at the existing exterior concrete wall. Please provide roof plan and framing information to show location of new roof top units and its support. Provide calculation and detail for roof top support and anchorage. Provide detail for wall construction. Details shall be clearly cross-reference onto the plan.Provide structural plans and calculation for the new addition. Plan review will continue at time of resubmittal. Soil report is required for building addition. A soil reported is required for the proposed project. The geotechnical investigations shall be conducted in accordance with Section 1803.2 and reported in accordance with Section 18.3.6 of the 2019 CBC.
