All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.Please return marked up set of drawings with corrections.This review does not include mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler system, or electrical work. Separate plans, applications, fees, plan checks, and permits are required for mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler systems, and electrical work. Call 647-5800 for information.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100)
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)Submit a letter addressed to the Building Safety Division describing in detail the manufacturing process from material delivery, storage, handling, packaging, and shipping of finish product. Include an equipment list describing use in the process.Reminder: Final plan shall be stamped, signed and dated by a licensed architect. Sheet T001:Sheet Index: Please note Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing are under Separate Review. Please note on plan: All cannabis facilities shall provide mechanical odor mitigation system in accordance with City’s handout and Mechanical code. Sheet G003:Detail 1 & 2, Restroom Plan: Please revise plan to show the water closet locating at 17”-18”, measured from the centerline of the water closet to the adjacent wall. Detail 4, Water Closet Requirements: Please revise detail to show toilet paper dispenser locating 7”-9”, measured from the front edge of the water closet to the centerline of the dispenser. Please omit/delete detail that does not apply to the project. Sheet A101:Accessible route: Please provide show an accessible route to the primary (main) entrance from the public way. Please show/provide detectable warning at the existing curb ramp along the path of travel. As part of mean of egress and accessible route, a pedestrian gate is required at the sliding gate. Truncated dome provided at the exterior exit doors (exit 2): Please revise plan to show truncated dome wrap around the door maneuver space. All required exits shall be unobstructed and continuous to a public way. Sheet A102:All required exits shall be unobstructed and continuous to a public way. Please coordinate with the site plan. On the plan, please show/provide exit tactile sign in compliance with 11B-216.4.Distribution room 105: A second exit is required and shall be located at a distance of 1/3 of the diagonal distance of the space. The common travel distance shall not exceed 100-ft. Sheet A201:On the plan, please specify/provide door schedule for the existing door. Doors shall be accessible to persons with disabilities. On the plan, please show/provide maneuver space on both side of doors – show dimensions. Sheet A203:Please provide enlarged restroom plans to show compliance with Chapter 11B, Division 6 for accessibility requirement. Sheet A301:Drinking fountains: Please show one drinkingfountain complying with Sections 11B-602.1 through 11B-602.6, 11B-602.8 and 11B-602.9 and one drinking fountainshall comply with Sections 11B-602.7 and 11B-602.9.New roof top units: Please provide structural framing and details for roof top unit support and attachment. Provide calculation.
