CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDMENTSThe applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)Cover sheet. Provide project job description on the first sheet of the drawings to reflect the work to be doneunder the subject building permit application.Indicate the occupancy classification (U) and type of construction (VB) on plan.Add note to the cover sheet: The governing codes for this project are the 2019 California Building (CBC), Electrical (CEC), Mechanical (CMC), Plumbing (CPC), and Fire (CFC) with City of Santa Ana amendments.Sheet C-8. On the site plan, enlarge the text height by the equipment to be legible. The recommended text height is 0.15 inches.Indicate height of the CMU wall in detail 1/C-8.Provide structural calculation and details for the CMU wall and footing design. Specify reinforcement, footing dimensions and embedment into the soils.Provide elevation of the wrought iron fence.Provide structural design and details for wrong iron fence.Specify the weight of the floor mounted tanks and other heavy equipment on the plans. Provide engineering calculations and structural plans for the support and anchorage of the floor mounted equipment weighing more than 400 pounds or with a center of mass more than 4-feet or less above the floor level. [ASCE 7-16, Sections 13.1].Show on the foundation plan that the location and dimensions of the wall footings, and spacing of the isolated footing under wrought iron fence.Sheet C-9Cross-reference detail 1/C-9 and 2/C-9 to the applicable location into the floor or site plan.
