Detectable warnings that are 36 inches minimum in depth extending the full width of the pedestrian path or cut-through less than 2 inches maximum on each side202, §11B-247.1.2.5, §11B-705.1.2.5Provide detectable warning details showing compliance with the following. Detectable warning surfaces at transit boarding platform edges, bus stops, hazardous vehicular areas, reflecting pools, and track crossings shall comply with Section 11B-705.1.1.3.1. §11B-705.1.1.3Sheet A-1.3 and A-1.4.Add note to plan that “Detectable warning surfaces shall be yellow and approximate FS 33538 of Federal Standard 595C. §11B-705.1.1.3.1”.Sheet A-1.3and A-1.4.Revise the ramp design not to exceed 8.33% in the running slope direction. All 3 new ramps exceeds 8.33% slope. For example, the ramp on sheet A-1.3 has slope = 8”/7’7”=8.79% > 8.33% which does not comply.Sheet A-1.3. Show dimensions of the ramps on site plan. The 48” minimum width is required for the accessible ramps.Sheet A1.4. Detail 1. Revise the location of the top handrail extension. The hand rail extension is measured from the edge of the top landing. Ramp handrails shall extend horizontally above the landing for 12 inches minimum beyond the top and bottom of ramp runs.
