Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100) - Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840) - Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)Sheet A-0.00:Occupancy groups: Please clarify what type of ‘S’ occupancy classification of the proposed T.I. There were two sheets of A-0.00. Please do not provide duplicate information. Drawing Index: Please note Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical and Refrigeration are under separate review. Drawing Index: Structural plans are missing from the plan sets. Please provide structural plans for review and approval. Sheet A-1.01:Please specify the use of space for the area adjacent to the improvement space. Accessible route: referenced to the prior approved permit was insufficient. Please show an accessible route from the public sidewalk to the building primary entrance; and from the accessible parking stall(s) to the building entrance. Provide/show an accessible path of travel from the accessible entrance to the area of alteration/improvement. Accessible route shall be 48” minimum wide with 5% maximum slope measured in the direction of travel and 2% maximum cross-slope. Show on the plan. Fences and gate: Please clearly clarify whether the fences and gates are existing or new. Revise plan accordingly. All required exits shall be continuous to a public way in accordance with Section 1009.2. Please show on the plan. Building Analysis: The first floor building area is 54,049 square feet:Please provide allowable building area in accordance with Section 506. On the plan, please clearly identify/show location of the 8,594 square feet of first floor office area vs. 45,437 square feet warehouse. Section 03/A-7.1 called out on the Enlarged plan 01 was not applicable. Sheet A-7.1 was not provided. Please coordinate and revise plan accordingly. Sheet A-2.00.DDemo plan: Demo of existing concrete slab adjacent to existing footing – Please show how existing footing will be protected. Provide minimum setback from existing wall and columns for existing footing protection. Sheet A-2.01On the plan, please show/specify the use of space for the area adjacent to the improvement area. Due to construction of the new cold storage area, please provide complete egress plan for the entire building, including the area without work. All required exits shall be continuous to a public way in accordance with Section 1009.2. Please show on the plan.Provide detail and specification for the slab insulation. Provide listing report. Provide termite protection/mitigation. Sheet A-9.01: RampPlease provide complete ramp information to show compliance with Section 11B-405, including handrails.
