All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.Please return marked up set of drawings with corrections.Note on plan: This review does not include mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler system, or electrical work. Separate plans, applications, fees, plan checks, and permits are required for mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler systems, and electrical work. The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)Plan Title Blocks: It’s not a repair – Please revise Title Blocks to eliminate the word “Repair”. Sheet A0.00: Summary Sheet Index – Please list all the architectural and structural drawings. Sheet A1.00: For clarity, please revise plan to clearly show the location of the proposed carport structure. Sheet A2.0 & referenced details: Type V-A construction is a fire-rated construction. Please revise plan and details to show wall, roof, and structural frames, including beams and posts, to be one-hour fire-rated. CMU wall adjacent to the property line. Please provide parapet complying with Section 705.11. Revise plans accordingly. Sheet A2.0: Enlarged plan: Please show property line. Sheet A3.0: please show header height, and clear ceiling heights. Sheet AD1.0: Please revise details to show fire protection assemblies as required for type V-A. Structural Comments: Sheet SN: Design Code – please specify 2019 CBC. Reference detail 7/SD-1: Please revise detail to provide minimum 30” height parapet. Please coordinate with architectural plan. Provide detail to show CMU wall at corner walls (walls intersection). Foundation and footing details: Please revise to show minimum 18” deep footing. Footing supporting the WSW: Please specify footing dimensions on the plan. WSW schedule indicate ¾” anchor bolts – 7/8” anchor bolts are required per WSW Standard details sheets. Final plans and calculation shall be stamped, signed and dated by the engineer of record.
