The applicant shall, prior to resubmitting, complete all construction documents to show compliance with the 2019 California Building Standards Code with local amendments.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance: - Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Proof of Worker’s Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuanceSubmit a signed copy of the contract showing labor and materials for all work to be done under the subject building permit application. The plan check engineer may accept the contract price as the valuation of improvements for unique/unusual projects in lieu of using a cost per square foot basis. Identify all the items with the keynote ( 5).Please provide legible site plan to show path of travel is in compliance with CBC 2019 , and show all the exit doors on the site plan.Show entrances to the building on the site plan and show compliance with accessibility since other doors on East sides are exit only.CBC Section 1010.1.2.1, Exit doors shall swing in the direction of exit travel when serving any hazardous area or when serving an occupant load of 50 or more.CBC Section 11B404.2.9Note on the drawings: “Maximum effort to operate doors shall not exceed 5 pounds for exterior doors and interior doors, such pull or push effort being applied at right angles to hinged doors and at the center place of sliding or folding doors. Compensating devices or automatic door operators may be utilized to meet the above standards. When fire doors are required, the maximum effort to operate the door may be increased to the minimum allowable by the appropriate administrative authority, not to exceed 15 pounds.CBC Section 1013.1 Provide a directional exit sign at changes in exiting direction.Complete the attached Disabled Accessibility Documentation Form.There is no door number, please see red marks. Is door (a) new or existing . provide 18” clearance at the strike edge of the Gate and the gate shall swings in the direction of exit.Provide minimum 60” clearance at door # F.Provide 18” clearance at door # ( e), (a) and (b).
