The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance:
-Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously
approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Fire Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5839 or 647-5700).
-Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840).
-Public Works Agency approval (647-5039).
- School District Compliance Certificate; and a copy of the building permit application, signed by
the plan check engineer, shall be required by the School District to verify the scope of the work.
-Grading Permit. Application is made through the Building Safety Division (647-5800) and the
plan review is by the Public Works Agency (647-5039).
Sheet 2 & 3:
Detail 1/6 called out for the column protection was not applicable. Please revise detail to show protection for the wood post.
2nd Review Comment: Detail 1/6 called out at the post was not applicable. Please provide detail to show fire protection for the posts supporting the beam – show 5/8” type X wrap around the wood posts.
Energy Conservation and Title 24 Calculation
On the plan, please specify minimum size of PV system will be installed (verify with Title 24 calculation).
2nd Review Comment: On the cover page (sheet 1), please specify size of PV (in KW) will be installed under a separate permit and prior to building final inspection sign off.
Structural Review Comment:
Please provide two copies of the final structural calculations. Calculations shall be stamped, signed and dated by the engineer of record.
