Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit three corrected sets of plans.
The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance:
-Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously
approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039).
Sheet S4:
Provide detail to show transfer of lateral loads from roof diaphragm to lateral resisting system blow. Details shall be clearly cross-reference onto the plan.
2nd Review Comment: Gable end roof patio – Please provide detail to show transfer of latera loads from roof diaphragm to the steel columns. Glazing are proposed at the gable – shear transfer through those glazing area is insufficient. Please coordinate and revise plan accordingly.
Structural Design
Structural calculations were not provided. Please provide structural calculation for the proposed patio. Provide vertical and lateral analysis.
2nd Review Comment: Seismic analysis – Please revise calculation to use R = 1.25 for cantilever columns.
Plan review will continue at time of resubmittal.
