The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance: -Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. -Public Works Agency approval (647-5039). Sheet A-1: Existing bedroom was altered: new window should meet the minimum clear opening for emergency escape. Please revise floor plan and elevation to provide 3’-6” x 4’-6” S.H window. There was no permit record for the powder room. Please show fixture clearances for plumbing fixtures in the powder room. Minimum 24” clear floor space shall be provided in front of the water closet and vanity. Please coordinate and revise plan accordingly, including the scope of work. Sheet A-2: Building Section – Please show floor insulation (R-19) at the new addition. Sheet A-3: Please relocate the smoke and carbon monoxide alarm to the hallway giving access to the sleeping rooms. Sheet S-1: Please coordinate with architectural plan. Per building section on sheet A-2, there is raised foundation at addition restroom – Please coordinate and revise plan accordingly.
