Sheet C-S: Please add the following note: All concealed work installed without permits must be exposed for inspection to the satisfaction of the Building Inspector. CalGreen note: Please revise water flow rate for lavatory sink faucets to 1.2 gpm. Sheet A-2: On the plan, please show location of existing garage door opening to be infilled. Keynote called out floor plan referred to sheet A1 for more information but information was not provided on sheet A1. Please provide information for keynotes. Window W1 in bedroom: Please specify clear width and clearopening height and minimum opening area for emergency escape window. Please provide building cross-section to show building envelope insulation, including wall and ceiling insulation. Sheet A-4: Plan shall be legible. Please increase font size and reprint the Green Code notes. Structural Comments: Detail 15/S3 called out at the interior structural wall was not applicable. Please provide detail to show ceiling and roof rafter run perpendicular to wall. Please provide detail to show interior support for roof rafters (cripple walls and kickers). Please clarify should wall between washer/dryer room and bathroom be a bearing wall. Provide footing if it’s a bearing wall. Foundation plan: On the plan, please clearly identify existing footing vs. new footing. Detail 4/S-3: New footing shall be minimum 18” deep below finish grade. Detail 16/S3: Please revise detail to show existing concrete slab with positive connection to new interior footing. Provide detail for exterior post support. Show 8” separation between exposed grade (earth). Please show holddown for shear wall at wall line B. Provide detail for holddown anchor to footing. Clearly cross-reference detail onto the plan.
