The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance: -Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840). -Public Works Agency approval (647-5039). - Proof of Worker's Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuance. - School District Compliance Certificate; and a copy of the building permit school fee worksheet completed by the applicant and city staff, shall be required by the School District to verify the scope of the work. Sheet A1: Please revise job address to the half address (915 ½ West Myrtle) for the proposed ADU. Apply to all sheets. Please provide site drainage plans prepared (stamped, signed, and dated) by a California registered civil engineer for the proposed detached structure. Otherwise, grading plans and grading permit are required. Drainage notes #1: please revise note to specify 5% minimum slope at natural grade and 2% minimum at concrete or paved surface. Site plan: Please show the slope of the swale to be 2% minimum. Please specify on the plan: Minimum 2.02 KWdc Photovoltaic System is required and will be submitted under a separate permit application and shall be installed prior to final inspection sign-off. Sheet A3: Roofing material: Cool roof is required per Title 24 calculation. On the plan, please specify cool roof and CRRC number. Radiant barrier is required per Title 24 calculation. On the plan, specify radiant barrier is required at roof sheathing. Structural Review Comment: Please provide ceiling joists over the front entry porch for rafter ties (see detail 7/A5). On the plan, please clearly show/identify the interior bearing wall to support roof rafters above. Provide detail and clearly cross-reference detail onto the plan. Detail 13/A5: Please revise detail to show shear transfer of lateral loads from roof diaphragm to shear wall panel. Foundation: Provide detail to show porch posts and build-up columns at slab. Provide/show concrete curb.
