The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance:
-Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously
approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Proof of Worker's Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuance.
Plans were incomplete. In order to provide a comprehensive plan review, a complete set of plans and calculations are required. Please provide the following information on the next submittal for plan review: Provide the following design data on the first sheet
Occupancy groups (R-3/U)
Type of construction (V-B)
Floor area per occupancy group, including the existing house and garage
Construction shall comply with the 2019 CRC, CBC, CPC, CMC, CEC, California Green Building Code, and California Energy Code.
There was no permit record of the Existing Storage structure. Please remove storage structure or provide plans and calculations to legalize the structure.
Provide partial floor plan of the existing house to show spaces adjacent to the proposed patio cover and fireplace. Light, ventilation and emergency escape opening required for the existing rooms shall be maintained.
Note on plan: All concealed work installed without permits must be exposed for inspection to the satisfaction of the Building Inspector. This includes methods of attachment and all footings, structural members, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and insulation.
Elevation: Please show distance between top of fireplace to the highest point of roof within 10-ft of the fireplace.
Provide structural framing plans and details, foundation plan and details, and calculation for the proposed Patio and fireplace. Plan review will continue at time of resubmittal and additional comment will be required.
Incomplete submittal will delay the plan check process and additional plan check fee may be required.
Final plan and calculations shall be stamped, signed, and dated by a California registered civil engineer or licensed architect.
