( Enlarge path of travel and provide detail to show compliance with accessibility)Show on the plans: - Occupancy Classification(s) - Type of ConstructionSubmit a letter addressed to the Building Safety Division describing in detail the manufacturing process from material delivery, storage, handling, packaging, and shipping of finish product. Include an equipment list describing use in the process.Provide typical section view detail of all new partitions and ceilings showing: - Heights of partition, suspended ceiling, structure above.Provide bottom track gauge for detail 11/A12.01 Show all the exit doors on the site plan.Provide complying exiting plan for the area. Provide beam and detail for new opening. ( Engineer stamp might be required)Note on the floor plan the use and occupancy load of each room and/or area. Relate each use to a CBC Table item.Egress from a room or space shall not pass through adjoining or intervening rooms or areas, except where such adjoining rooms or areas are accessory to the area served, are not a high hazard occupancy and provide a discernible path of egress travel to an exit.CBC Section 1019.3, Exit continuity. Exits shall be continuous from the point of entry into the exit to the exit discharge.Provide on the drawings a complete door schedule, showing: - Hardware complying with exiting and disabled accessibility requirements Tactile exit signs shall be required at the following locations: - Each grade-level exterior exit door shall be identified by a tactile exit with the word “EXIT.” - Each exit door that leads directly to a grade-level exterior exit by means of a stairway or ramp shall be identified by a tactile exit sign with the following words as appropriate: - Each exit door that leads directly to a grade-level exterior exit by means of an exit enclosure, or an exit passageway, shall be identified by a tactile exit sign with the words “EXIT ROUTE.” - Each exit access door from an interior room or area to a corridor or hallway, which is required to have a visual exit sign, shall be identified by a tactile exit sign with the words “EXIT ROUTE.” - Each exit door through a horizontal exit shall be identified by a sign with the words “TO EXIT.”Show new sink in room 104 complies with accessibility.It is the project designer’s/property owner’s responsibility to show compliance on the drawings with all applicable Federal and State Accessibility Standards.Drawings submitted to the Building Division for review shall provide the following information to insure compliance with CBC Section 11B-202.4: - An accessible entrance - An accessible route to the altered area - Accessible restrooms - Accessible telephone (if any) - Accessible drinking fountains, and - Parking, signage and alarmsProvide 60” clearance from wall next to toilet to the sink.If a walk crosses or adjoins a vehicular way, and the walking surfaces are not separated by curbs, railings or other elements between the pedestrian areas and vehicular areas, the boundary between the areas shall be defined by a continuous detectable warning which is 36” wide, complying with the CBC Section 11B-247.1.2.5Complete the attached Disabled Accessibility Documentation Form.Note type of safety glazing complying with CBC Section 2406 for hazardous locations listed under CBC 2019, ( for new windows , are they fixed or operable)Please revisit sheet A02.02 (construction plan), are those all new windows.
